(INDIANAPOLIS—- August 29) Downtown Indy will rock this Labor Day weekend, September 2-5, when the 16th annual Rib America Festival presented by Indiana Pork Farmers returns. The 2011 lineup is loaded with the biggest names to date at Indy’s biggest and best BBQ and music event. The Budweiser music stage will rock with REO Speedwagon, The Doobie Brothers, Blind Melon, Everclear, KC and the Sunshine Band, Jonny Lang, the Romantics, Truth & Salvage Co. and many more. The Street Rodder Magazine Road Tour will also be featured at the event on Sunday, September 4 only. The Rib America Festival presented by Indiana Pork Farmers is open at 11:00 a.m. daily and is held at the beautiful, tree filled Military Park in White River State Park at the crossing of New York and West Streets.

Lou Reed & Metallica - Lulu - Due Out November 1, 2011

August 29, 2011- Los Angeles, CA - In what is sure to be one of the most talked-about alliances of the year, New York king of avant-rock Lou Reed has teamed up with best-selling hard rock band Metallica to record a brand-new album, entitled Lulu, which will be released by Warner Bros. Records on November 1st, 2011. The album was co-produced by Reed, Metallica, Hal Willner who has produced albums for Reed, Marianne Faithfull, and Laurie Anderson, among others and Greg Fidelman. Fidelman also mixed the record.

BREAKING BENJAMIN’S “BLOW MY AWAY” VIDEO RELEASED
Hollywood Records has now released the official video for “Blow My Away,” the lead remixed track off the recently released album, Shallow Bay: The Best of Breaking Benjamin. The animated video was directed by Chris Mills (Modest Mouse, Metric) and can be viewed on YouTube now. The song features the soaring vocals of Syd Duran of the band Valora, which is currently in the Top 10 on the active rock radio charts.
