Xavier Rudd Interview -” We don’t choose the influence of music, it chooses us”

Touring in support of his new album, Koonyum Sun,  Xavier Rudd is kicking off his cross-country tour in Seattle and winding up in Boston mid-September.  Rudd is an Australian singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist that grew up in Jan Juc Victoria, where his music social consciousness stems.  Xavier threads messages of environmentalism and Aboriginal peoples’ rights not because it’s cool to do so, but because it’s true to his soul.
