Musicpix had the opportunity to visit with Serena Ryder during her sound check prior to her solo acoustic performance at the Vogue Theater in Indianapolis, Indiana. Touring in advance of her first major label release in the U.S. on September 15, 2009 entitled “is it o.k.” (which has already been certified Gold in Canada), Serena’s performance was the perfect set up for Jakob Dylan’s band The Wallflowers. Serena Ryder is an incredible talent. Her three octave vocal range and soulful emotive phrasing has her poised to enjoy a very long and fruitful musical career.
