Gogol Bordello

Gogol Bordello, a Gypsy punk band from the Lower East Side of New York City, formed in 1999. They are known for their theatrical stage shows and persistent touring. Inspired heavily by Gypsy music, the band incorporates minor-key accordion and violin mixed with punk and dub.

Gogol Bordello’s first single was released in 1999.
