Alice Cooper was born Vincent Damon Furnier on February 4, 1948. He is an American rock singer, songwriter and broadcaster with a career spanning more than five decades. He is known for his shocking stage performances featuring guillotines, electric chairs, fake blood, boa constrictors and baby dolls. His style is influenced by horror moves, vaudeville, and garage rock, producing a theatrical heavy metal experience. The Rolling Stone Album Guide described him as the world’s most “beloved heavy metal entertainer”.On VH1’s “100 Greatest artists of Hard Rock”, Cooper was ranked #20.
