The Fray ignited the July 4th weekend at The Lawn at White River State Park in downtown Indianapolis, Indiana to a sold out house. Openers Richard Swift and Jack’s Mannequin set up the easy listening outdoor party as this bill attracted all ages in search of everything fun and summer. The stage itself presented a mesmorizing light show which also featured four isolated cameras giving the audience a bird's eye view of each band member’s individual performance.

Schedule mishaps, sound problems, and a little rain could not crush the 2009 Rock The Bells crowd last Saturday. The annual hip-hop festival kicked off this year’s tour by bringing over 20 artists to perform on two stages at the outdoors venue in Tinley Park, IL. Alongside the 10 hours of musical mayhem was an array of visual artists, vendors, and food. This year's line-up included performances by Busta Rhymes, Damien Marley and Nas, The Roots, Big Boi, The Knux, Tech9ne, K'naan, Reflection Eternal and many more. Check out the gallery here.

LOS ANGELES, CA…July 1, 2009 – American Idol alumni and beat-boxing sensation Blake Lewis is set to release his second studio album, Heartbreak on Vinyl, on October 6th via Tommy Boy Entertainment, it was announced today. The album’s first single, “Sad Song,” is scheduled to hit radio in July and will become available first to fans through an exclusive ringtone download via the Blake Lewis Official Fan Club.
St. Vincent will team up with Andrew Bird for a month of US tour dates this fall, starting September 29 in Indianapolis. The two critically acclaimed artists will also be paired for an episode of Austin City Limits, scheduled to air on PBS stations nationwide on October 24 (check local listings).
Our Lady Peace, the Canadian rock band consisting of Raine Maida, Duncan Coutts, Jeremy Taggart and Steve Mazur will release their 7th studio album on July 21st, 2009. Burn Burn will be released in the U.S. through Warner Music Group's Independent Label Group. Burn Burn will be released as a standard 10 track CD as well as a Deluxe two disc CD/DVD fanpack with bonus tracks, music videos and exclusive studio footage.
