SICK PUPPIES UNVEIL "YOU'RE GOING DOWN" VIDEO HIT THE ROAD WITH SHINEDOWN FOR U.S. TOUR THIS FALL

Sick Puppies' have just released a new video for their hit single "You're Going Down," which also served as the theme for WWE's Extreme Rules PPV broadcast last month. The band decided to take a less predictable route to back the popular fight anthem. The video involves kids, neighborhood bullies, and a massive water balloon fight that takes place in a pristine suburban setting. The video can be seen now on the band's MySpace (www.myspace.com/sickpuppies) and will make its television premiere on MTV2 and MTVu's Unleashed Tuesday, August 11. The lead single "You're Going Down," continues to gain momentum at radio charting Top 15 at Modern, Top 10 at Active Rock, and Top 30 at Rock formats.

Sick Puppies Set Tri-Polar Release - Tour Schedule

Australian trio Sick Puppies are gearing up to release Tri-Polar, their second major label album, and follow-up to Dressed Up As Life. Like their freshman release, new album, Tri-Polar will feature producer credits in Rock Mafia's Antonina Armato and Tim James. Together they've created a sound that reflects the past four whirlwind years spent in the rock and roll fast lane, on the grueling tour grind, honing their chops until they were a finely tuned powerhouse ready to let loose with the anger, frustration and triumphs built up from all that road work.

Girl In A Coma and The Sick Puppies - "Two Bands That Should Fill Yankee Stadium... But Don't...Yet"

Bands You Need To Know
Girl in a Coma - Sick Puppies

Music is a subjective art. One man's Beehtoven is another man's Tiny Tim. Over the past couple of years we've seen over 1,000 bands perform, from the A-List to the "what's a list?". Two bands have stood out this year, and have made our "Two Bands That Should Be Playing Yankee Stadium... But Aren't...Yet" list. These are two bands that struck a chord with us. Two bands that have that special something that sets them apart from the multitude of talented artists in this world. They may not have all the hype, all the pyro, all the radio airplay... but they have all the talent, passion and charisma to be on any stage and win over any crowd in an instant.

Girl In A Coma and The Sick Puppies are two bands who fit that bill. Check them out below:

The Sick Puppies simply ROCKED Headliners, Louisville, KY.  A couple of months prior, Musicpix covered the somewhat unknown band here in the US at a tiny little club in Indianapolis, IN.  After seeing them perform live, we put them on our radar screen as a band to watch.  Now just a few months later, the Sick Puppies are fronting for Flyleaf and Kill Hannah and are playing to packed houses… well on their way to headlining. To see them, to hear them is to love them.

Originally from Australia, the Sick Puppies are touring in support of their debut album “Dressed up as Life” which is a more than solid entrance onto the music scene.  “All the Same”- the soundtrack for the video of “FREE HUGS” has been a YouTube smash; garnering more than 15 million hits.

Musicpix sat down with Shimon Moore (lead vocals, guitar), Emma Anzani (Bass) and Mark Goodwin (Drums) prior to the show to talk about their past, present, and future…which includes conquering the world.  Read on...
