Schedule mishaps, sound problems, and a little rain could not crush the 2009 Rock The Bells crowd last Saturday.  The annual hip-hop festival kicked off this year’s tour by bringing over 20 artists to perform on two stages at the outdoors venue in Tinley Park, IL.  Alongside the 10 hours of musical mayhem was an array of visual artists, vendors, and food.  This year's line-up included performances by Busta Rhymes, Damien Marley and Nas, The Roots, Big Boi, The Knux, Tech9ne, K'naan, Reflection Eternal and many more. Guerilla Union--the promoter for the ROCK THE BELLS 2009 FESTIVAL SERIES—has announced on-sale information for a number of the dates for North America’s only major touring hip-hop festival. The Los Angeles and Denver markets will go onsale this Saturday, May 16 with Vancouver and San Francisco joining on Saturday, June 6. The previously revealed stellar line-up of performers for this year’s ROCK THE BELLS will feature Nas & Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley, The Roots, Big Boi, Common, Busta Rhymes plus many more.
