Fall Out Boy Goes Splitsville

It's hard to believe Fall Out Boy who we first covered live back in 2005 are calling it quits. According to multiple news sources, Patrick Stump, Pete Wentz and the boys are going their separate ways. Stump has announced plans to record a solo album.... we're sure there's more to come.

CITY OF BOCA RATON BANS FALL OUT BOY CONCERT

The April 21st Fall Out Boy concert at Mizner Amphitheater has been relocated due to the City of Boca Raton citing security issues. A statement from the city reads “There have been known disturbances associated with one of the bands, “Fall Out Boy”. We anticipate that the concert will generate security challenges”.

50 CENT JOINS FALL OUT BOY’S ‘BELIEVERS NEVER DIE PART DEUX’ TOUR

            (March 16, 2009 – New York, NY) Kicking their highly-anticipated US Tour up another notch, Fall Out Boy has announced that acclaimed rapper 50 Cent will join the band on five cities on their ‘Believers Never Die Part Deux’ tour, the band’s 2009 headline arena tour, which kicks off April 3rd in Phoenix at Mesa Amphitheater.

            (January 15, 2008 – New York, NY) Island Records act Fall Out Boy has announced the dates for the ‘Believers Never Die Part Deux’ tour, the band’s 2009 headline arena tour, kicking off April 3rd in Phoenix at Mesa Amphitheater. Supporting Fall Out Boy will be Cobra Starship, All Time Low, Metro Station and Hey Monday.  Eight select markets (exact ones tba) will be on sale the weekend of Friday January 23rd; the remainder of the dates will be available for purchase beginning on January 31st. A special presale will be offered for Overcast Kids, The Official Fan Club of Fall Out Boy. The Honda Civic Tour headlined by Fall Out Boy and (+) 44 made it's delayed visit to Indianapolis on Tuesday, June 12th. Originally scheduled for June 8th, the concert was postponed due to air travel difficulties in New York for some of the members of Fall Out Boy and (+)44. Despite the high anxiety given to fans by the unfortunate delay, all seemed to be forgotten once the first chords were struck. Cobra Starship, Paul Wall and The Academy Is primed the Verizon Wireless Music Center audience.

The Black Clouds and Underdogs Tour, headlined by Fall Out Boy is one of the hottest tickets to have on this cool Spring touring season as witnessed by a sold-out show at UIC Pavilion, Chicago. We’ve covered FOB on three separate occasions in the past year…the first being during 2005’s Warped tour. It was quite apparent last summer that their star was quickly on the rise. Headliners of Nintendos's Fusion Tour , Fall Out Boy delivered their high-energy version of what music is today to video-gaming music lovers at the Egyptian Room, Murat Theatre, Indianapolis, Indiana.

With only four more stops to make on the sold-out Fusion Tour, Fall Out Boy can be compared to the Energizer Bunny as they keep going, and going, and going with no end in site. Fresh off of a successful Warped Tour, and during the Fusion Tour’s sell-outs, the band was awarded a Woodie as The Tour Band of the Year by MTVU and fans continue to see why at their sold-out shows in the United States as well as throughout Europe in 2006.
